There’s no need to leave your dog at home. Your four legged friend is welcome at The Boat House Lodge too… at no extra charge.
We’ll provide some doggy treats for your arrival. There’s enough space for a crate and the Lodge’s garden is enclosed so your dog can enjoy a run around while you sit back and enjoy the scenery.
You’ll be spoiled for choice for dog-friendly bars and restaurants in Shropshire too (The Horseshoes, the closest pub to the Lodge, even has a special dog menu!)

If you get muddy on a walk, you’ll find water bowls, a shower and spare towels in the laundry room (in the garage beneath the Lodge).
All we ask is that you use the provided throws to cover the soft furnishings so your dogs can get as comfortable as you during your stay, and they’re not left alone in the Lodge, unless they’re in a crate.

“Such a lovely property with everything we needed.
Loved the welcome basket and treats for our dog along with the lovely toiletries.
It was also lovely to have a fenced off garden for our little dog so I could go out in the morning in my dressing gown!
We have stayed in lots of properties over our 37 years of marriage in the UK and this is one of the best. Well done.

So much peace and in such a lovely part of the world. We didn’t have much time here unfortunately but we will return. So many places to visit and revisit. Every need provided for a complete break.
